A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of patients from a GP practice, working in partnership with the practice to improve services. The PPG brings the patient’s perspective to discussions and decisions and acts as a bridge between all patients and the practice to ensure that patient voices are heard about issues that matter most to them.
Generally, PPGs seek patient feedback on the practice and improvements that can be made. They also aim to build a strong relationship with the practice and local communities to help improve the health and well being of the patients. They do this by holding health awareness and information events or signposting patients to services provided by local community organisations.
- Contact your practice manager to find out about the PPG
- Visit your practice website. Many PPGs have a page on the site giving information and contact information
- Contact us at the Lambeth PPG Network via our contact form and a member of our staff will get back to you about your practice’s PPG
